Cadillac has unveiled the 2025 Escalade, showcasing a significant mid-cycle refresh. This iconic SUV now features updated styling, new lighting elements, and an impressive 55-inch digital dashboard borrowed from the Escalade IQ. While the trim lineup remains the same, the underpowered diesel option has been discontinued for this model year.
In the competitive world of luxury vehicles, staying ahead is crucial. Cadillac has stepped up with the 2025 Escalade, incorporating advanced technology and a refreshed exterior design. The highlight is the 55-inch dashboard, a combination of two screens: a 35-inch display for the driver and a 20-inch screen for the passenger. The passenger screen is polarized to prevent driver distraction when the car is in motion. Unlike the Escalade IQ, the gasoline version supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in addition to the built-in Google system.
Complementing the massive dashboard is an 11-inch touchscreen that controls climate settings, ambient lighting, and the now power-operated doors. These doors can be opened with a swipe on the screen or a button on the handle. The driver’s door features an automatic open-and-close function when it detects the key fob. This feature is standard on the Platinum and V-series trims and optional for other trims.
The rear seats have also been upgraded with the Executive Second Row package, which includes another touchscreen.
The captain’s chairs now offer heating, ventilation, and massage functions, and storable tray tables for added convenience. The AKG audio system has been enhanced from 36 to 40 speakers for an even richer sound experience.
The 2025 Escalade’s exterior changes focus on lighting. The SUV’s front adopts a bolder look with vertically oriented high- and low-beam lights and narrow horizontal running lights integrated into the grille. The Cadillac logo on the grille is now illuminated across all trims, with additional lighting effects for the V-series and Premium Luxury Platinum trims.
Inside, standard models gain two new color schemes, and the V-series features a carbon-fiber-themed design. Three new exterior colors—Aegean Stone, Deep Sea Metallic, and Latte Metallic—join the lineup, and the Escalade now offers 24-inch wheels.
All six trims from 2024 carry over, with the standard 420-hp 6.2-liter V-8 engine and the powerful 682-hp supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 in the V-series. However, the 3.0-liter diesel inline-six has been dropped.
Production of the 2025 Escalade will begin later this year, with deliveries expected by January. Cadillac has yet to release final details or pricing, which will be announced closer to the launch date.
